Paddy field in Tanjung Karang, Selangor.

Assalamualaikum and good day to everyone.. As we know, Malaysian's staple food is rice.. The site for planting paddy not only limited on flat land but also we can grow paddy on the hillside.. In Sarawak, the people growing paddy on the uphill and we called it as  upland paddy. However, in this article I would like to share with you all about the largest paddy producer in Malaysia, which is Tanjung Karang, Selangor.. Reason why Selangor become the largest rice producer is it water system. One of the popular paddy factory in Malaysia is BERNAS.. As a treveler I've seen many semblance wondrous during travelling.. I staying at a homestay that hosted by Mr. Mohamad and his family.. My 3 days and 2 nights at the homestay costs RM350 with food, accommodation and vehicle provided.. The atmosphere in the village was so green, peaceful and relaxing especially at the early in the morning.. With smooth breeze really make me don't want to leave the village..

At the village, I've joining many activities such as farming, fishing and planting paddy with old folks.. It was a great impression as I never experience it before.. Planting paddy in olden days might be a normal things for old people but for me it maybe can make me tiring to death.. haha.. but, don't worry I succeed to finish the planting by using new technology in paddy planting which is machines..!! haha.. With this new innovations, it can help them to increase the output in the future.. It take times about 3 to 4 month before they can start harvest.. Prior to the time to harvest, they also growing some other crops such as cane, vegetables and swallow bird nesting.. They were doing bird nesting as commercialization products and export it to other countries.. In early evening, daughter of Mr. Mohamad, Sarah took me to go for a stroll around the  village.. The villager was very warm to me as they welcoming me to their home..

The village is not like the olden days, now they have many infrastructures and facilities such as home shop lots, schools, houses, halls, IT center, paved roads and so on.. Today any body or vehicles can access to the village easily without compromise..

So, lastly.., this might be the last place I visited for now.. but for those who interested to feel the experience.. I can guarantee it will be most exciting for you.. So, don't wasting time.. packs your bags and go for adventures.. hope you like it.. bye.. Assalamualaikum..
