Taman Negara , Pahang

Taman Negara is simply means "National Park" in English Language. It was established in 1939 and it is known to be one of the oldest rainforest in the world. This park is rich with flora and fauna. Taman Negara or also known as National Park was covers an area of about 4343 squares killometers in the states of Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan in Malaysia. This Taman Negara is the most extensive protected area of lush green rainforest in the country where commercial logging is prohibited. Gunung Tahan or also known as Tahan Mountain is also the home of this Taman Negara with the highest peak of 2187 meters in Peninsular Malaysia.

We can do many activities and we will get such a great experience at Taman Negara, Pahang. For example ;
  • Canopy Walk
We can walk along the bridge at 510m long and 45m above the ground level. This activity will give us a great experience and it will be a memorable memories to us by walk on the top the forest. We also can see the view from the top and all the species of flora and fauna.

  •  Rapid Shooting
 

This Rapid Shooting that faces seven rapids along Tembeling River and also we must get ready for the wet and wild experience.
  • Cave Exploration 

This cave exploration where we can explore the limestone cave such as Gua Telinga. This cave also is the home to various bat, racer snakes and many fascinating insects. It must guarantee fun and excitement moments. We also can spend a night at Kepayang Besar, Kepayang Kecil or Daun Menari for more adventure .
  •  Jungle Trekking
 

For those who loves to do the extreme and adventures activities, I'm sure that they likes go to Jungle Trekking. It is the most adventures trail about 1.7 km to Bukit Teresek and takes about 30 to 45 minutes to reach its peak. A magnificient panaromic view of Gunung Tahan can we watch from the 334m height of the hill. Among the other popular trail are Lubok Simpon (20-30 min), Gua Telinga (2hr 30 min - 3hr), Bumbun Kumbang Hide (4hr) and Lata Berkoh (5hr)

  • Night Jungle Walk

We can discover the side of the jungle which comes alive at night and feel the sense of the jungle at night. There we will get more experience.
  • Animals Observations

Spend nights hidden up on the trees while waiting for the tapir, elephantor bear to appear at observation hides.
  • Fishing
 

Fisghing is one of the main attractions to Taman Negara for those likes to fishing. The fishing months are during the drier months in February to April or June to August. For those who wants to fishing here, they need permits which issued at RM 10 per rod.
  • Boat Cruise to Lata Berkoh

Cruise along Sungai Tahan to relish the riverside flora and fauna. Along the way, stop by the Fish Sanctuary chance to snorkel amongst fresh water fishes.
  • Visiting Kampung Orang Asli

We can know how the local natives who lead a nomadic lifestyle in Taman Negara and see how their life as a nomadic.
  • Mount Tahan Climbing

The most adventurous  activities. Climbing the highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia which is Gunung Tahan. The trail is 53km from Mutiara Taman Negara.

THE SCENERY of MASJID TERAPUNG KUALA PERLIS

Kuala Perlis is situated about 11 kilometers from Kangar, the capital town of Perlis and is the third largest town in the state. The word Perlis appears to be a version of the word perelus, that is soil that gives way when stepped upon or where a hole is unexpectedly met with. The word Kuala meant estuary.

Opened on October 8, 2011. The mosque m
ade from a variety of mineral substances without any paint 
anbuilt floating on the beach of Kuala Perlis. 
Able to accommodate up to 1,000 pilgrims.

One of the specialties of this mosque, it is disabled-friendly. 
It is 
located near Kuala Perlis jetty at the entrance to the island of Langkawi. 
3 minutes of time taken from Kuala Perlis jetty to the mosque on foot. T
housands of tourists visit every year. It was donated by a businessman, Tan Sri Mohd. Ariffin Joseph. The mosque took four years to complete at a cost of about RM12 million.




Not painted

The mosque became a new icon of Kuala Perlis was inspired Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Faizuddin Jamalulail and realized by billionaire Ariffin. Ariffin's brother, Datuk Dr. Mohd. Hussain died in 1999 before he could fulfill the wish to build a mosque. Because that upon completion, the mosque is named after his brother. From the plains of the mosque, visitors are sure fascinated see no painted mosque walls instead just using coral rock types, quartz, granite, marble and pebbles.

A waqf mosque erected in the square. Guests can also relax in along the wall overlooking the sea. Three palm trees brought in from Arab Lands West Asia inject elements of the mosque site.

Like many other mosques, the main external features of Al-Hussain is the dome. Its color is golden yellow with blue motif that is synonymous with the official colors of Perlis.





Light tower

The lights indicate the time in prayer. It is for the convenience of fishermen or those who are already at sea. 
Blue lights indicate the Fajr and Maghrib and Isha prayers while the green is. The tower can be seen from a distance of 10 kilometers. 
Before getting to the space in the mosque, visitors will cross a 50-meter long bridge connecting the land and the building of the mosque.

Moving to the interior of the mosque, feel comfortable from the air conditioning cold fast after touching the skin let alone see the rock walls of the mosque are shown writing the verses of the Holy Quran. 
At the top of the inner dome carved circular word of God while the bottom five cornered star pattern symbolizing the five Islamic Rukan written in five languages: Malay, English, Arabic, Chinese and Tamil.

Paddy field in Tanjung Karang, Selangor.

 
            Assalamualaikum and good day to everyone.. As we know, Malaysian's staple food is rice.. The site for planting paddy not only limited on flat land but also we can grow paddy on the hillside.. In Sarawak, the people growing paddy on the uphill and we called it as  upland paddy. However, in this article I would like to share with you all about the largest paddy producer in Malaysia, which is Tanjung Karang, Selangor.. Reason why Selangor become the largest rice producer is it water system. One of the popular paddy factory in Malaysia is BERNAS.. As a treveler I've seen many semblance wondrous during travelling.. I staying at a homestay that hosted by Mr. Mohamad and his family.. My 3 days and 2 nights at the homestay costs RM350 with food, accommodation and vehicle provided.. The atmosphere in the village was so green, peaceful and relaxing especially at the early in the morning.. With smooth breeze really make me don't want to leave the village..

 

       At the village, I've joining many activities such as farming, fishing and planting paddy with old folks.. It was a great impression as I never experience it before.. Planting paddy in olden days might be a normal things for old people but for me it maybe can make me tiring to death.. haha.. but, don't worry I succeed to finish the planting by using new technology in paddy planting which is machines..!! haha.. With this new innovations, it can help them to increase the output in the future.. It take times about 3 to 4 month before they can start harvest.. Prior to the time to harvest, they also growing some other crops such as cane, vegetables and swallow bird nesting.. They were doing bird nesting as commercialization products and export it to other countries.. In early evening, daughter of Mr. Mohamad, Sarah took me to go for a stroll around the  village.. The villager was very warm to me as they welcoming me to their home..


        The village is not like the olden days, now they have many infrastructures and facilities such as home shop lots, schools, houses, halls, IT center, paved roads and so on.. Today any body or vehicles can access to the village easily without compromise..

       So, lastly.., this might be the last place I visited for now.. but for those who interested to feel the experience.. I can guarantee it will be most exciting for you.. So, don't wasting time.. packs your bags and go for adventures.. hope you like it.. bye.. Assalamualaikum..

i-City Snowalk is open from 10.00 am until 1.00 am during weekdays and from 10.00 am till 2.00 am during weekends and public holidays.
